Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah *again*, because of the timeout last time. ;-)

At first, note that Savannah supports projects of the Free Software movement, not projects of the Open Source movement.

We are careful about ethical issues and insist on producing software that is not dependent on proprietary software.

While Open Source as defined by its founders means something pretty close to Free Software, it's frequently
misunderstood.
For more information, please see http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-software-for-freedom.html.

At second, licensing under the "GNU GPL v2 only" is problematic.
Would you agree to license your project under the "GNU GPL v2 or later"?

The reason for this is that when we publish GPL v3,
it will be important for all GPL-covered programs to advance to GPL v3.
If you don't put this in the files now, the only way to port your program to GPL v3 would be to ask each
and every copyright holder, and that may be very difficult.

We can explain the issue in more detail if you wish.
If you have concerns about "GNU GPL v2 or later", we'd be happy to address them too.

At third, in order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GPL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL,
available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.
To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

Furthermore please include a README file in the directory of your images and write there copyright and license
notices of them down.
See also http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html

The project account will remain inactive until a site admin approve or discard the registration.

######### REGISTRATION ADMINISTRATION #########

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific "Group Administration" page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Description:

This project's main goal is to provide a free open source gaming solution for anyone in the world. Using the power of PHP, the backend of a database and the flexability of phpBB ... it is easily set-up to the user's needs.

On the user side: the project allows people to create multiple clans, manage them easily in a control panel, take part in tournaments (single and double elminination), see how they rank on the ladders and as well, have a clan page where they and other people can see all their stats and past matches.

On the admin side: the project allows the administrator to view a page containing links, these links have titles such as "Add a Ladder", "Edit a Clan", "Edit a Tournament", "Add a Platform" etc, etc. With this, they can quickly get things done and fix anything that's needed.

This project is the perfect alternative for thoes who don't want to spend a fourtune on costly gaming ladders, when they can get the same product for free.
