I created the repository.
Check https://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/SvN for how to access it.

Hi,

thanks for approving the project!

Yes, I would like to give SVN a try.  However, upon preparing a repo dump I've discovered that I have lots of junk from other projects which I've split later and do not wont it to creep into Savannah anyway.  So, let's just start with a brand new repo :-)

Hi,

I have approved your project.  You will receive an automated e-mail containing detailed information about the approval.

We started testing a SVN service but it's not finished yet. If you agree with the "testing" status and agree to give feedback, we may import your repo there, though I'm more busy with setting up git right now.

Regards.

OK, I've added copyright notices into every single source file.  Also, the full license text is added into Makefile.

Updated package can be found here: http://www.shulgin.org.ua/~shulz/png++/png++-0.1.1.tar.gz

The new version is also attached to this reply.

I have a local SVN repository where I track the project progress.  Is it possible to import repository history into Savannah upon approval?

Hi,

You have notices, but you did not add appropriate copyright notices.

Please check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for more information, and update your files.

If you are willing to make that change, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

Regards.

Can you attach your source code to this tracker? Your offline time matches the time during which I usually work on Savannah :)

Registration Details

  • Name: png++, the C++ wrapper for libpng
  • System Name:  pngpp
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: Modified BSD License

Description:

The png++ project is a C++ wrapper for libpng.

The project aims to provide simple yet powerful C++ interface to libpng, the PNG reference implementation library.

Using raw libpng in C++ may impose serious challenge since lots of precautions must be taken to handle initialization/deinitialization of control structures as well as handling errors correctly. The sample routine to read a PNG image in libpng's example is about 300 lines in C. With png++ you can read or write PNG images just in a single line of C++ code.

PS: the host might be down from 22:00 to 8:00 UTC, since I have to sleep sometimes and the machine makes too lot of noise to sleep with turned on.  However, I can email you the sources if you like :)

Other Software Required:

libpng
