Hi,

I have approved your project.  You will receive an automated e-mail containing detailed information about the approval.

Before to upload the code at Savannah, please place a file (e.g. README° in the data directories describing the origin/copyright and license of the media files (you mentioned they were GPL'd). If the license is embedded in the file (like VeraBd.ttf) this is not necessary.

Regards.

Hi,

That's good news.

You can use:
https://savannah.gnu.org/register/upload.php
to upload the new tarball.

Hello.

I read the doc, thank you. I change the name to FreeMachines, but I can't upload the new package because it needs 2.9M.

Hi,

We are careful about our wording, and wish to promote "free software" rather than "open source". The two concepts are close in practice, but do not put emphasis on the same values.
(check http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/open-source-misses-the-point.html for more information).

The Savannah hosting services are reserved to projects that share the GNU values, and we review all projects that are submitted in this regard. So this is very much about the free software philosophy, and this implies we do not accept any project, including those who advertise as "open" :)

We would be glad if you accept to use "free" instead of "open" in your project name.

I see now that I change the description to "A free machines game".

Hello. I want to speed up this proccess.

I just read the task #7859, "Submission of OpenCDK Lite", to be exact I will show the relevant post "we don't allow projects with "Open" in their name at Savannah.". This can be problem, I like this name, it was my first design name an I want to stick with it. I like your service, and I want to make it clear too.
But as I said this is my first name. I think that disallowing projects to begin with "Open" is a bit against free software philosophy, free as in speech, so if I want to name it OpenMachines  it shouldn't be a problem for savannah, always being me the unique responsability of this decission.

Don't take me hard, I don't want to change the name because I like it. But I could name the project at savannah as FreeMachines and mantain it as a double name, being the name of the tarball openmachines, again I would prefer to have it named OpenMachines.

Please, reconsider your decission if at all possible.
