Hi,

- Copies of both the GPL and the FDL are in Documentation/Licenses (I will move the Licenses folder into the project root folder instead of the Documentation one).

- I will write a README.txt file that links to both the online licenses and their local copies, when importing the project in CVS.

- For the moment, their is no documentation, but if any it will be released under the FDL.

- R is part of the GNU project :)

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, you project lacks a COPYING file. You can get the GPL via http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt

At second, we would prefer you release your documenation(s) under the terms of the GNU FDL instead of the GNU GPL. Or do you plan to dual license it?

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the FDL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements after the title page of each work.

In addition, if you haven't already, please add a copy of the FDL
(available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html in various formats)
as a section of your works , and as plain text in a file named 'COPYING' (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt).

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html#SEC4

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl-howto.html also covers additional points,
including a smaller notice that you can use in auxiliary files.

At third, is "R" (related to your dependences) free software? Exist there a license page where I can see it?

Regards,

Sebastian Wieseler <kickino>

RDevelop will replace my previous Pride project (http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/pride/), in order not to reinvent the wheel by writing an IDE from scratch, and to take advantage of the current (and future) MonoDevelop features.
