Hi,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from the pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah, please register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier registration will direct you to the proper location where you can re-register your project.

Regards.

Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah? If not, please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain time.

Regards.

Hi,

Please remove the google talk logo from your project. It is one of Google's trademarks and cannot be used without Google's permission. This would mean that every user of your software would have to apply to Google for permission.

Please see http://www.google.com/intl/en/permissions/brand_terms.html and
http://www.google.com/intl/en/permissions/index.html and
http://www.google.com/intl/en/permissions/guidelines.html if you require any more infomation.

Also, the address of the FSF has changed, and is now:

51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1301 USA

Please update your license notices.

Please update the copy of the license (usually, the 'COPYING' file) in your package as well.

Updated versions of the GPL, LGPL and GFDL can also be found at:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt

You can find some background and a possible migration script at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3766

Finally, iksemel is LGPLd, so there is absolutely no problems for you to use it in your GPLd project. The GPL and LGPL are compatible licenses.

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project. Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah. (Please actually provide a tarball, rather than an apache folder tree to browse, as these are time consuming to try and review.)

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards.

gtalk has been thinking like a good GUI client dedicated to google-talk-IM system.

gtalk is using C language under GPL license and GTK for gui graphics library based. Right now it dont have any idea complete for socket connections, iksemel under GPL was thought for first option or I will rewrite a new jabber client system for connections.

The already code is not the end, I mean... I thinking the best way to do the works yet. It need do stuff like google-talk under Windows client of Google is doing.

gtalk features for the first release:
* Google talk GUI style
* Google full jabber client supported
* Images accounts display
* Add contacts
* Delete contacts
* Sort contacts

The main requires libraries:
* gtk+-2.0 or best
* glib-2.0 or best
* iksemel (http://iksemel.jabberstudio.org/)

Hmm, iksemel is under LGPL, for this reason my another option is rewrite my own jabber library or find another GPL library.

The little code can be found here:

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

We need a detailed technical description that specifies such requirements as programming languages and external libraries. It should be at least one-half a page.

Addtionally, please include a (perhaps temporary) URL pointing to the source code. Alternatively, you can forward the code to me by email or attach it to this tracker.

We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the GNU GPL you must include a copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than 10 lines long. This is explained in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these.

Note that sending code to our repositories is a release, since the code will then be publicly available through anonymous access.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards.
