This item has been reassigned from the project mldonkey, a multi-networks file-sharing client bugs tracker to your tracker.

[field #10]                  Summary: P/R/C column is non-standard/confusing
[field #11]      Original Submission: Many people seem not to get the P/R/C column and its checkboxes-or-letter design. The usual mistake is that the "R" is a label for the pause checkbox, and "D" (from the network column nearby) is a label for the cancel checkbox.

  • use three related radio boxes, all with their own labels. Wastes space, but is much less confusing
  • use a dropdown list with the three states Running/Paused/Cancel
