xids above 49151 are reserved for dynamic contexts by the kernel and there does not exist a way to create them explicitly. You will have to invoke 'chcontext(-compat)' without the '--xid' argument. Then, the next free xid will be choosen.

A work-around is to set S_CONTEXT to a fixed number below 49000 in the vserver.conf-file.

I am having problems with contexts larger than 50000. Some contexts around 49150 works some dont. Contexts below 49000 all work.

I used the following perl script.

perl -e 'for(1..70000) {print "echo $_; /usr/lib/util-vserver/chcontext-compat --ctx $_ ls\n"}'

I am not running 50000 vservers on my machine, but for some reason vserver wants to start new contexts around 49100. Each new contexts being the same as the previous +1.

If I find a way to get chcontext-compat to start at 1 then I will have a work-around.
