Sadly the current cvs version is not working due to other changes.

tpb partially works on this machine (model number 2639-43J). The Thinkpad light indicator works perfectly. The "Thinkpad button" detection works perfectly. Volume up/down, mute and brightness up/down work.

This machine has another three special buttons -- labelled "house", "magnifying glass", "envelope" -- next to the Thinkpad button are not detected.

Each button toggles a value of 1 2 and 4 respectively; these values are added to produce byte 0x126 of /dev/nvram. The next byte 0x127 toggles between 0 and 8 on presses of the Thinkpad button.
