You are right but today I have other priorities like DVD support, later why not.

Hi!
I think it's better to use cdrdao to record audio files to CD. With this, you won't need use sox to convert wav files.
All you need is, convert from ogg/mp3 to wav, generate a .TOC file, and use CDRDAO to record to CD-R. I never got a error from him. And this will give to you a better control, like pregap seconds, CD-TEXT, and other things.
