There was a missing modification in the patch: even the add of an entry leads to an error. This new one should solve the problem.

Thanks for the patch but there is still a border side effect. When trying to update an entry the following message appear (removing the patch remove the message but the type filed is not updated)
Warning: Sablotron error on line 1: XML parser error 7: mismatched tag in /export/www/tests/biborb/php/xslt_processor.php on line 72
Cannot process XSLT document [2]: XML parser error 7: mismatched tag
any idea?

The field 'type' was used by biborb to store the bibtex type of the document consequently. I have attached a patch so that a "true" field name 'type' can be used independently from the bibtex type of the document. It will be integrated in a next release of biborb.

Thanks.

When trying to import a BibTeX file I discover the following problem. If your bib file contain the "type" tag (see attached example), the document type is taking it's value instead the normal @xxx definition and so it's not possible to reedit bib entry. There is a workaround updating the document type by hand but in this case the original type value is lost. Any idea? thanks in advance.
