Well done Sylvain...0.3.8 did the trick! graveman's auto detection of my Lite On burner was perfect this time. I had to do nothing...the burner was detected as a burner and with the correct speed values.
Also fixed is the "operation failed" error I was seeing as reported in another bug report. However, getting past this bug has brought another issue to the surface.
When I have my files added to the queue, I select the "Write Tracks" button. A window pops up asking me if I want to create the data CD. This window also gives me the option of blanking a CD-RW before I write. As I'm using CD-R's, I just figured graveman would know this and ignore the blanking command. This is not so. Graveman tries to blank my CD-R, fails, and reports an error that it "Cannot blank disk, aborting." A correct error, but annoying as I was expecting graveman to somehow know it didn't have CD-RW media to burn.
Now I know I can change the preference to where I have to select the check box if I want to blank a CD-RW, which is what I have done. Shouldn't this state (the preference with the box unchecked) be the appropriate default?
I'm still puzzled as to why, when I compile from source, graveman does not compile with MP3 support. When I installed the 0.3.7 RPM from the graveman site MP3 support was active. I (obviously) have all the dependencies met or the RPM wouldn't provide MP3 support. Yet I can see as I run ./compile that the compiler isn't seeing some MP3 related lib's. Does Fedora put these into an odd location that only an RPM file can pick up?
Lastly, I've attached a screenshot of the window to add files to a data CD. The window is titled "select iso image source." This seems incorrect to me as I'm not burning an iso, I'm selecting files to burn to a CD. When I add audio files to an audio CD, the window is (properly) titled "Select an audio file to add." For your info, I've also included my graveman.conf file in the zipped attachment.
HTH,
Bob
