Fixed, thanks! I use inet_ntoa() to parse that string, and it doesn't work like you'd expect when you have less than 4 octects (it returns 172.0.0.16).

In the usage summary the ignore nets information is incorrect in version 0.3.0 compiled on Debian Linux 3.0

The section for skip (ignore) currently states

-i: skip (ignore) checks from these IPs or netblocks
example: -i 192.168.12.5,10.0.0.0/8,172.16/255.255.0.0

However the example 172.16/255.255.0.0 will not work if passed as option. Instead the line should read 172.16.0.0/255.255.0.0 which will work. Minor bug but could help alleviate confusion down the road.
