About 16 Kb of the glyph name tables defined in src/psnames/pstables.h appear in the .data section of the FT2 shared library.

This is due to the fact that the code uses an array of pointers to the glyph name. Such constant pointers cannot be placed in the read-only portion of the relocatable shared object (because hey, they contain absolute values after all)

it might be beneficial to use a distinct storage scheme to avoid that every application linked to FreeType2 eats 16 Kb of data.
