Thanks for your fast respons.
I understand your comment.
I will look into the documentation how to define a variable in EEPROM-space.

The idea is that you create a separate eeprom variable
(different from your SRAM copy), supposedly in section
.eeprom, and take its address.

When I use " eeprom_write_byte(&ee_addr,baudrate) " the value of 'baudrate' is written to the same address as where 'ee_addr' is located in RAM (in my case 0x191). While I meant it to write at address '0' which is the value of ee_addr.
When I use " eeprom_write_byte(ee_addr,baudrate) ", notice the omission of the address operator '&', the value of 'baudrate' is written to the address given by ee_addr. Which is exactly I wanted. But I have to cope with the warnings the compiler generates at every call of the function. This again is logical and to be expected from the compiler.
Am I doing anything wrong when calling the eprom-function using the address operator? Looking at the documentation that comes with it I don't think so....
Thanks for any respons....
With regards, Eduard.
