Tagging and export are things that are really only important when working with other people, on large projects, or on multiple machines. I think it should still be kept out of the basic tutorial.

I would discuss tagging at the end of the getting started tutorial section. It's a very simple and common operation. Probably export as well.

But patch and multiple committers should remain in the advanced section. Probably near branching and merging, since they are all related.
