This is certainly a bug in your compiler, and monotone builds fine for most people with similar compilers, so it doesn't seem like anything we can work around.

Perhaps you should file a bug with mandrake or something like that?

In the mean time, there is a static build on the monotone website that you can use, and I believe that monotone 0.19 is available in mandrake cooker.
