I'm closing it. Probably SM memory type is the only way to go. Reopen if needed

It seems that ME is not a valid memory type for you:

> 05 00 15 2b 43 50 42 53 3d 22 4d 45 22 0d 0d 0a | +CPBS="ME"
> 2b 43 4d 45 20 45 52 52 4f 52 3a 20 32 31 0d | +CME ERROR: 21

try SM instead:
$ gnokii --getphonebook SM 1 end

To find out all valid memory types for phonebook use a terminal program to issue commands directly to your AT phone, e.g.

$ minicom /dev/rfcomm0

at+cpbs?
+CPBS: ("SM")
OK

Hi !

Running Suse9.2 with self compiled gnokii 0.6.7.

Tried to connect to my Siemens S65 via bluetooth. I am able to identify and dial numbers but reading the addressbook fails.
Have attached the log and the gnokiirc file

Would appreciate any help/hint how to get this done....

Willing to test if anyone tells me what to do :o)
