OK, now fixed with a more reliable workaround. Uses two glBindTexture calls, which takes care of the problem. No idea why, though.

I have added a silly workaround to detect ATI cards and use 2D textures in that case. That way at least it displays correctly :-)

Further debugging seems to show that each time a texture is uploaded, the next rendered one has the size of the uploaded one.

Which has not really lead us to fix the bug yet.

From the information provided, we can't be sure whether this is a
hardware or software issue, and whether it's a problem with Glob2
or some other program it depends on.

Could you (or anyone else who is experiencing this problem)
respond to this bug report with details about how we can contact
you to further analyse the problem, and/or go to the IRC
development channel #globulation2 on irc.freenode.net

When using the OpenGL renderer on an ATI X300 using the fglrx driver on Debian Etch, I noticed the following graphics glitch:

Some things don't seem to get the right size, or are quite often "changed" between being the right size and the wrong one. This was seen both using the debian package from the official debian apt repos, which has version 0.8.14-2 (which I assume is alpha14) and alpha15 debian package from the globulation 2 download page. Though there were one difference: when starting the game on alpha15, I didn't get any cursor, though I did on alpha15.

This is best shown with a couple of screenshots. I didn't know if I could attach a 1mb tarball, so I uploaded it to http://eulex.0nyx.com/glob2-screens.tar.bz2 .

Regards, Alexander Toresson
