sorry; 1.9.5 is very old and implementing backward compatibility with every beta version of the kernel patch would clutter the code yet more than it is currently. util-vserver will work recent (experimental) kernel patch and the 1.2.x series.

When you see the issue there also, please reopen the bug.

Trying to do a vserver-build on 2.6.11.12-vs1.9.5.Elsmp:

# ./vserver-build --force -m yum -n dns-int1 -- -d wbel4
Renamed '/etc/vservers/.defaults/vdirbase/.pkg/dns-int1' to
'/etc/vservers/.defaults/vdirbase/.pkg/dns-int1.~1121803639~'
rpm-fake.so: vc_create_context(): Function not implemented
rpm-fake.so: failed to initialize communication with resolver
rm -rf /etc/vservers/.defaults/vdirbase/dns-int1 /etc/vservers/dns-int1 /etc/vservers/.defaults/vdirbase/.pkg/dns-int1

Is a reboot required after updating the utils ?
