Please check if this bug still is in current CVS version.
You should find a tarball of current CVS in files section of
this project: http://download.berlios.de/pub/mldonkey/spiralvoice/

buildinfo says 1772. I'll raise fd ulimit to that and report if problem appears again.
(Ok to close bug report in the meantime for me -- however, I'm not the original submitter.)

Check buildinfo command for the number of fd´s MLDonkey can use.
Use ulimit to increase the number of fd´s if too low.

I've seen the following:
Sometimes, when I add many (edonkey) files to my download queue, some are paused. As soon as some finish or I cancel some, I can unpause the paused ones, but not before.

My guess is that it happens when the mlnet process runs out of file descriptors.

I think networks are any.
I can bring up logs, but i also think we had this bug before in 2.5 tree. Maybe someone remembers what were cousing it and how to fix it ?

Any logfile entries for these files?
From which network are these files?
