hello everyone...
Can anybody help on the problem i'm facing??

I'm writing a C code for my application in WINAVR GCC compiler...I'm want to write an inline assembly code for some part of my code where I need to use shifting operations....
I want to write a macro which will receive 4 input varibles..
want to assign fixed registers for these variables ..but i'm unable to do so....before paasing these registers to the macro i have assigned them to fixed registers by using register storage class specofier ...

i have attached the two differen types of code..
please go through them...and do reply me if some solution is there.

thanks n regarsd,
varsha
