Well,

The behavior i describe, are comparable to GAIM or GTodo:
- GTodo quits when clicking on the X, and hides when clicking on the trayicon
- GAIM doesn't quit when clicking on the X, but hides when clicking on the trayicon (the Contact Window, in fact).

OK,

Rectification: i see the icon in my trayicon area.

Well, may i made some suggestion:
- trayicon should be always present (not just when closing the window)
- left clicking on the icon should "restore" the window, if the window is open, it should "unrestore" it

I still think that it should be better to have the application quit when closing the window ;-)

Anyway, thanks for the great work, the new gui is really great.

Kind regard

Well,

I use window maker, which doesn't have a taskbar !

Anyway, i think you refer to a trayicon... But, i have something to display trayicon, and i cannot see mldonkey in the trayicon area.

I think closing the application using the standard "X" at the top of the window is useful (people could not have taskbar/trayicon area and want to leave by this way).

If you need further information, send me your question/scenario to test whatever you want.

Kind regard

If you refer to GTK2 GUI it has now a taskbar icon, to close GTK2 GUI use the context menu of it.

Hello,

I am trying to use mldonkey 2.6.4. I note that if i quit closing the window, the GUI is never stopped.

Thanks
