TigerTree C code does not work on 64bit platforms. This would
be some work for C gurus here.

Same problem with 2.6.3 and 2.6.5, but with Debian AMD64(new PC and new OS). Finally got 2.5.30.17 working, though it also gives the TigerTree exception, but fortunately doesn't crash(so far). Could it somehow be related to gcc, since I had problems compiling a driver, gcc-3.3 was used by default but to load it, gcc-3.4 was required for some reason. On the other hand I might easily be missing a whole bunch of packages, since I've been installing them when asked for.

SUSE 9.3, AMD64

When I start mlnet I get the following error message:

Unable to compute correct Tiger trees.

Segmentation Fault

This first happened with the precompiled version from the SUSE apt repository.
After that, I downloaded this source file http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/mldonkey/mldonkey-2.6.4.tar.bz2
and succesfully compiled it with "./configre --enable-batch --disable-gui; make". But the newly compiled core gives me the same error message.
Then I applied this patch http://mldonkey.berlios.de/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=12516#12516 , compiled the source and mlnet still crashes.
