Yes it works.
Now in CVS.

If the consumer is not able to resolv provider hostname
to its numeric @IP he can still reach it and obtain
sample using the numeric @IP directly.

Nevertheless for the provider to be able to give
a valid numeric @IP he should be able to to do
the hostname --> IP for itself.

The fix is in CVS.

The src/core/ctrl/tsp_stream_sender.c
use gethostname in order to build the
'adress' sent to tsp consumer in the
tsp_answer_sample_init_t

we may use @IP (getted by gethostbyname)
which may isolated TSP from incomplete
network configuration on client side.

The client may only know the provider
using its @IP and not his name.
