for this applet: https://service.oneaccount.com/Service/Status/int001p.main_page?brand=2

I fixed the classpath problem. It works in plugin mode. Unfortunately, in the standalone there is a segmentation fault when applet.init() is called. I do not have the source code, so I cannot diagnose the problem just yet.

To test the plugin mode, run it with gij.

You need to use the latest classpath version (pre-0.91). Use CVS HEAD.

No, there are some exceptions. I will add this to the list of broken
applets that I need to fix.

Thanks,

I can't build gcjwebplugin on FC5...

src/gnu/gcjwebplugin/AppletTag.java:25: error: Class or interface ‘gnu.xml.dom.html2.DomHTMLEmbedElement’ not found in import.

Does your version now work with https://service.oneaccount.com/Service/Status/int001p.main_page?brand=2 at least to the point where it asks you to log in?

When pointed at https://service.oneaccount.com/Service/Status/int001p.main_page?brand=2
gcjappletviewer seems to spend an extremly long time just doing this repatedly...

mmap2(NULL, 2658304, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0xb085a000
munmap(0xb085a000, 2658304) = 0
mmap2(NULL, 2658304, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0xb085a000
munmap(0xb085a000, 2658304) = 0

Running it in GDB gives the backtrace and behaviour shown in the attached file. Aph suggests that it's continually updating an animation, although it does this before ever actually rendering its window.

This is Fedora Core 4, gcjwebplugin from current (2005-10-18) CVS.
