Did you start MLDonkey binary directly or by help of the
Debian start script? More infos in mlnet.log?

Hi,

I'm using the same architecture (linux sparc64) and have the same problem with mldonkey. I updated my CVS source today, configured it with --enable-checks. It fails with the following message:

2006/04/12 11:57:38 [DNS] Resolving http://www.mldonkey.net ...
2006/04/12 11:57:38 Logging in ./mlnet.log
Fatal error: out-of-bound access in array or string

How can I produce more information for debugging?

Try current version, there have been fixes for Sparc.

Get the following crash after a day of running (reproducible):

Fatal error: out-of-bound access in array or string

Same with self-compiled using sparc32.

This is on Debian stable (sarge) with Kernel 2.6.12-1-sparc64 #1 Tue Sep 27 23:45:57 UTC 2005 sparc64 GNU/Linux, 640 MB, Sun Ultra 10 300 MHz.
