I close the bug, as it look like to be fixed now. If problem is still there, please reopen.

I have not noticed any problems between my FC4 and XP32 systems as of version 0.8.18 and beyond. Has this been fixed already? If so the bugtracker should be updated and this report closed out.

There is high chance this bug is caused by bug #15282. Please send any IncRessourceLog.log from a win32 game, after 0.8.17.

A friend and I are also experiencing this issue.
I just tested locally here with 2 gentoo linux boxes and an XP Pro box with the same results Leo got.
Linux+Linux works fine, Linux+Win desyncs and crashes the Linux clients.
Using 0.8.17 on all boxes.

Interesting. Seed is not the same and some ressources have changed and thus some units have taken another direction. Are you sure you were using exactly the same version? I tested Windows/Linux games with Minas just before Win32 version was released and it worked.

as tested on 2 windows and 2 linux boxes only the variants l:l and w:w worked. both tests of l:w crashed within the first second of gameplay.
in one test it crashed already at synchroniseing the maps before the game started.

the attached glob2.world-desynchronization.dump.txt.tar.gz and HVAN VIPYOG.log.tar.gz are of the windows-box that did the server in this case.

linux-logs will be attached by andrew after dinner ;)
