Thank you for your report. To save time we would need you to:
-Please only report one bug per report.
-Please only report bugs on the latest alpha or CVS is possible.
-Please check for duplicated bugs, espeicaly if you don't report on CVS or latest alpha.

The assertion problem has been reported and fixed.
The ressource duplication will not be fixed because it's inherent to some deep engine techincal stuff.

Times to times, 0.8.17 on linux crashes reporting

glob2:map.cpp:1301: void Map::decRessource(int, int): assertion 'amount' failed. Abort.

Maybe it has something to do with the case three or more globs mining resource on the same place, I am certain when 2 are mining wood or last piece of food the same place, both get a load from 1 resource.
