Static MLDonkey compiled against glibc-2.3 does not work on systems
like Eisfair with glibc-2.2, you have to compile MLDonkey yourself:

When I try to connect to mlnet core with Sancho, the core immediately shuts down with the following error message.

mldonkeyd: gconv.c:58: __gconv: Assertion `outbuf != ((void )0) && outbuf != ((void *)0)' failed.

Linux version:
Linux Datenkern 2.4.26-1 #15 Sun Oct 24 22:54:01 CEST 2004 i686 pentium2 i386 GNU/Linux
(Eisfair server - mlnet was renamed to mldonkey because of starting through menu system of Eisfair)

With version 2.70 and before everything works fine. Is this a general problem or is it depending on my server?
