[Fix]

All of these problems should be fixed now. Thanks a lot for these reports and comments you made.

Note: you only need qt4 for the track editor. I don't think the error about test_triangulation and libtracked.a had anything to do with qt. I mentioned qt in my first comment because I noticed you were trying to use qt3.

ok, thanks :)

you should maybe just remove the data dir in SUBDIRS in Makefile.am since it blocks autogen.sh to run.

the other was that even if i dont enable tracked, i get the error :
make[2]: *** Pas de règle pour fabriquer la cible « ../../src/trackedit/libtracked.a », nécessaire pour « test_triangulation ». Arrêt.

(but maybe it was what you wean by "I'll try to fix that when I get ready to release the next version".)
anyway the only way to fix it is to have the configure find the good qt and use your workaround, even --enable-tracked didnt fixed it: looks like it always wants to compile this qt thing)

[Work around]

The problem in configure.in was fixed (removed the reference to data/Makefile)

About the other issues:
- force feedback is not supported currently. I have commented out this option in configure.in
- the version of qt required for tracked-qt is 4.0. 3.x won't work. You don't need qt if you don't build the track editor, though.
- There is indeed a bug in my makefiles. I'll try to fix that when I get ready to release the next version. Meanwhile, you can work around it:

% (cd src/ui_interactive; make top10)
% (cd src/trackedit/qt; make all)

hi, i just got the cvs to try top10 and i found these little problems :
when running autogen.sh :
configure.in:177: required file `data/Makefile.in' not found
Makefile.am:2: required directory ./data does not exist

if i correct this, there is another problem:
with ./configure --enable-ff --with-qt=/usr/qt/3/ --enable-tracked when i do make i get :
make[2]: *** Pas de règle pour fabriquer la cible « ../../src/trackedit/libtracked.a », nécessaire pour « test_triangulation ». Arrêt.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/autre/Jeux/top10/top10/src/track'

and that's all :]
