Hello,

I just tried setting additional gcc compiler optimizations htrough KPortage 0.5.: Settings -> Portage Configuration -> Build Options. Enabled mmx and sse.

But apparently KPortage adds the flags "-mmx" and "-sse" to CFLAGS in /etc/make.conf. Well, afterwards compilering fails. IMHO it should say "-mmmx" and "-msse" according to man gcc. Might also be a problem for other flags as sse2 but I haven't tried them all so far... ;-)

I am using Gentoo 1.4 and gcc 3.2-r2.

Best Regards,
Daniel Seyffer
