$ grep -r 'in ace string' .

This is (only) used for cert names, keypair names, and var domains.

Is there currently any reason to store these as ace instead of utf8 (other than that certs with certain names or issued by certain keys would need to be re-issued)? Is there any reason at all not to store var domains as utf8?
