I started getting this error after a glibc upgrade. It also happenes if you get it to check new drives etc. The segfault therefore happens whenever it free()'s the popup window.
I can start graveman but, when I start to burn a cd graveman segfaults with the next backtrace: * glibc detected * graveman: free(): invalid pointer: 0x000000000058e810 *======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/libc.so.6[0x2aaaac98253c] /lib/libc.so.6(__libc_free+0x76)[0x2aaaac9830a6] graveman[0x42cca8] graveman[0x40f300] graveman[0x418897] graveman[0x425019] /lib/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xf6)[0x2aaaac936136] graveman[0x409789] ======= Memory map: ======== 00400000-0043b000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 7000261 /usr/bin/graveman 0053b000-0053e000 rw-p 0003b000 08:01 7000261 /usr/bin/graveman 0053e000-00712000 rw-p 0053e000 00:00 0 [heap] 2aaaaaaab000-2aaaaaac5000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6794458 /lib64/ld-2.4.so 2aaaaaac5000-2aaaaaac6000 rw-p 2aaaaaac5000 00:00 0 2aaaaaae1000-2aaaaaae2000 rw-p 2aaaaaae1000 00:00 0 2aaaaaae2000-2aaaaaae9000 r--s 00000000 08:01 4704 /usr/lib64/gconv/gconv-modules.cache 2aaaaabc4000-2aaaaabc5000 r--p 00019000 08:01 6794458 /lib64/ld-2.4.so 2aaaaabc5000-2aaaaabc6000 rw-p 0001a000 08:01 6794458 /lib64/ld-2.4.so 2aaaaabc6000-2aaaaabdf000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6342206 /usr/lib64/libglade-2.0.so.0.0.7 2aaaaabdf000-2aaaaacde000 ---p 00019000 08:01 6342206 /usr/lib64/libglade-2.0.so.0.0.7 2aaaaacde000-2aaaaace0000 rw-p 00018000 08:01 6342206 /usr/lib64/libglade-2.0.so.0.0.7 2aaaaace0000-2aaaaaff5000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6664666 /usr/lib64/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaaaff5000-2aaaab0f5000 ---p 00315000 08:01 6664666 /usr/lib64/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab0f5000-2aaaab102000 rw-p 00315000 08:01 6664666 /usr/lib64/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab102000-2aaaab106000 rw-p 2aaaab102000 00:00 0 2aaaab106000-2aaaab231000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6518421 /usr/lib64/libxml2.so.2.6.23 2aaaab231000-2aaaab330000 ---p 0012b000 08:01 6518421 /usr/lib64/libxml2.so.2.6.23 2aaaab330000-2aaaab33c000 rw-p 0012a000 08:01 6518421 /usr/lib64/libxml2.so.2.6.23 2aaaab33c000-2aaaab33f000 rw-p 2aaaab33c000 00:00 0 2aaaab33f000-2aaaab352000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 4932442 /lib64/libz.so.1.2.3 2aaaab352000-2aaaab452000 ---p 00013000 08:01 4932442 /lib64/libz.so.1.2.3 2aaaab452000-2aaaab453000 rw-p 00013000 08:01 4932442 /lib64/libz.so.1.2.3 2aaaab453000-2aaaab4df000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6666084 /usr/lib64/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab4df000-2aaaab5de000 ---p 0008c000 08:01 6666084 /usr/lib64/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab5de000-2aaaab5e4000 rw-p 0008b000 08:01 6666084 /usr/lib64/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab5e4000-2aaaab601000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6519561 /usr/lib64/libatk-1.0.so.0.1113.0 2aaaab601000-2aaaab701000 ---p 0001d000 08:01 6519561 /usr/lib64/libatk-1.0.so.0.1113.0 2aaaab701000-2aaaab704000 rw-p 0001d000 08:01 6519561 /usr/lib64/libatk-1.0.so.0.1113.0 2aaaab704000-2aaaab705000 rw-p 2aaaab704000 00:00 0 2aaaab705000-2aaaab71b000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6666463 /usr/lib64/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab71b000-2aaaab81b000 ---p 00016000 08:01 6666463 /usr/lib64/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab81b000-2aaaab81c000 rw-p 00016000 08:01 6666463 /usr/lib64/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.800.16 2aaaab81c000-2aaaab8a1000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 6794294 /lib64/libm-2.4.so 2aaaab8a1000-2aaaab9a0000 ---p 00085000 08:01 6794294 /lib64/libm-2.4.so 2aaaab9a0000-2aaaab9a2000 rw-p 00084000 08:01 6794294 /lib64/libm-2.4.so 2aaaab9a2000-2aaaab9aa000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 7065093 /usr/lib64/libpangocairo-1.0.so.0.1200.1 2aaaab9aa000-2aaaabaaa000 ---p 00008000 08:01 7065093 /usr/lib64/libpangocairo-1.0.so.0.1200.1 2aaaabaaa000-2aaaabaab000 rw-p Abortado I can confirm this on amd64 and x86, maybe this sould be related with glibc 2.4?
