DESCRIPTION

The current working directory name .pc does not indicate the use of the directory. It should be named after the program:

.quilt

This was automated tools to disregard common patterns like

.svn
CVS
RCS
...

Can be made. In current situation the name is unfortunate when there would be better alternative.

SUGGESTION

The program can provide backward compatibulity easily:

- Search for direcctory: .quilt
- If not found, search for direcctory: .pc

This way the new behavior is prefered and new quilt patch
series will use .quilt. There should also be warning like:

"Warning: obsolete .pc dir find, please migrate to use
new .quilt dir"

Even better, add option "--migrate" to simply move .pc
direcctory to .quilt
