This now works for drag & drop'ed items.

We should also implement for <I> (and <IO>)

A nice dialog with gives you the ability to search for files, and the option to place the audio file at Track start, work cursor and so on.
Also the ability to use exesting audio files in the project would be nice (like the audiolibrary which doesn't work yet)

Something for 0.40.0 :-)

For now, the file import places new audioclips always after the last one in a Track.

Good point, I think in the future it would be nice to have a more advanced dialog giving you the option to either insert at Track start, work cursor or float cursor.

Imported regions should be placed at the work cursor. Otherwise they are stacked on each other at the beginning of the track.
