Documented command aliases 'mv', 'ci' and 'ls' in a3b4cc5d.. in the texinfo documentation, should be in 0.28.

seems like the logical thing would be to give each alias it's own entry in the manual, just as if it were a regular command.

This would enable to alias to be searchable/findable.

The maunal entry itself could simply be a one-liner, saying this is an alias, see such and such.... preferably a clickable link.

I should add that the man page doesn't mention the -e option for rename. Which does precisely what I was looking for in the first place. :)

Tip: also try 'mtn mv --help'.

(We really should automatically generate the man page from the --help strings. One more thing on the list to get to eventually!)

Thanks for the report, though; it's surprisingly hard to get people to tell us about these little rough edges!

Ah! Well, perhaps a simple addition to the `rename` docs saying that mv is an alias...

Feel rather stupid that I missed that, but I was trying to figure if mv took any arguments, and searches for mv in both the man page and manual didn't turn up any results, which was rather disconcerting.

It's an alias for 'rename' -- how would you recommend documenting it?

The `mv` command does not seem to be documented in either the man page or the manual.
