It is impossible to add a 16-bit alias for UBRRH:UBRRL register pair for ATMega32 device, because UBRRH and UBRRL registers are located not in nearby addresses.

#define UBRRL _SFR_IO8(0x09)

#define UBRRH _SFR_IO8(0x20)

The MEGA32 header file (iom32.h) also contains two USART register defines which are not underneath the USART section. The defines:

#define UBRRH _SFR_IO8(0x20)
#define UCSRC UBRRH

Should be moved to underneath their relevant section (USART Registers) and the 16-bit alias added for word-access to the entire baud rate register in the same way as other AVR header files.

header lacks a 16-bit alias for the register pair, it needs a "#define UBRR _SFR_IO16(0x09)
