it happened again in beta4. i upgraded 4 racetracks in a square and a glob got trapped. again the savegame does not expose this effect. https://file.savannah.nongnu.org/file/trappedAgain.png?file_id=17223" />
just got that bug again by placing two swarms wall to wall to wheat (see pic). my guess would be that the forbidden gradients don't respect each other so each is calculated only respecting older obstacles pushing into the other forbidden area. will try to give an order to reproduce. unfortunately the savegame does not bare this behavior. also placing an unlinked forbidden area resolves the trap. way to reproduce: pause the game place 2 swarms on top of walking units that occupy more than one field and more swarms all around so that they can not exit via the line separating the first two swarms. https://file.savannah.nongnu.org/file/trapped.png?file_id=15675" />
closing as this never was reported again and likely was fixed by some modification.
by placing 4 barracks in a square i trapped a glob on the 4th "not-yet-construction site". so there were 3 construction site and a rectangular forbidden-area that is supposed to free the area of own globs. now one glob kept walking one step left and one right (Appleboy and Genixpro confirmed that) until i removed the forbidden-area. now the glob walked randomly again so it quickly left the site and the construction started.
