These are not three processes using 20MB each, these are three threads of the same programm using 20MB altogether.
For RAM saving: Do not use IP blocking, it keeps the list in RAM, compile only network modules you want to use.

I'm running mldonkey on a very low resources device, a linux/powerpc based machine with only 64 MB of RAM.

After starting mldonkey, top shows at least three mlnet process intances, each allocated about 20 MB or more.

It would be very nice to have the option (at runtime or compiletime) to run mlnet in a "low memory usage mode", possibly avoiding having three process instances or reducing their memory utilization.

Already tried suggestions in http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/MemoryUsage but with limited results.

Just a feature request, not everyone has GBs of RAM...
