Yes I tried, no success...
It seems I'm the only one affected by this issue, maybe it's not a mlnet bug but an unlucky set of circumstances.
BTW soon I'll pass to Debian.

No, CVS had no updates for this topic.
Did you update Suse 10.0 to the latest level?

Did you try the core I compiled for you?

Sorry for delay, I was on holiday. I tried to manually install Ocaml 3.09.2 and then recompiled MLDonkey, but the problem still remains.
I compiled version 2.7.7, but not CVS code. There are any differences?

I compiled MLDonkey on Suse 10.0, fully updated.
First I saw you could compile DonkeySUI support,
here g++ crashed, but thats another story...

With my core I could start downloads up to 4GB without
problems. I manually installed Ocaml 3.09.2 before
compiling MLDonkey:

wget http://caml.inria.fr/pub/distrib/ocaml-3.09/ocaml-3.09.2.tar.bz2
tar -xjvf ocaml-3.09.2.tar.bz2
cd ocaml-3.09.2
./configure
make world.opt
make install

Then grabbed MLDonkey CVS code, ./configure --disable-donkeysui
and it works with files up to 4GB.

Here is a copy of my core for testing:

Yes I use Suse 10.0, I tried to compile MLDonkey with

./configure --enable-force-ocaml --enable-batch

but the problem still remains...

Do you use Suse?
If yes, Suses Ocaml 3.08.3 package is horrible broken...
http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23518#23518

Compile MLDonkey with

./configure --enable-force-ocaml --enable-batch

and it should work.

Fri 04 Aug 2006 10:51:45 PM UTC, original submission:

I have mldonkey user home at /srv/archive/mldonkey
This is a `df -h' output:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda3 13G 6.7G 5.7G 55% /
tmpfs 252M 0 252M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hdb1 58G 36G 22G 62% /home
/dev/hdb2 93G 32G 61G 35% /srv/archive

Root partition has 5.7G free, /srv/archive (where there are mldonkey's temp and incoming directory) has 61G free.
When I launch a download > 2G, mlnet crashes with message:

File size limit exceeded
