This was indeed the problem although I never used polish as I don't understand it.
If it is not too complicated the (un)installer should have an option to delete the personal settings while uninstalling.

Sorry but it does not do this for me and in the package there is no setting of language, so the default english should be used.
Could you please try to uninstall BKchem, delete the personal settings directory (for english windows something like C:\Documents and settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\bkchem) and reinstall? Because the personal settings directory is not deleted on unistall or reinstall, I suppose it could be some residue of the previous install.

After installing the new version 0.11.5 under WinXP, bkchem's menus are in polish instead of english. This makes it very complicated to change the language back because not everybody knows the polish menu names for this.
