We no longer use boost::program_options .

$ ./mtn --depth a
mtn: fatal: boost::bad_lexical_cast: bad lexical cast: source type value could not be interpreted as target
mtn: this is almost certainly a bug in monotone.
mtn: please send this error message, the output of 'mtn --full-version',
mtn: and a description of what you were doing to monotone-devel@nongnu.org.
mtn: discarding debug log, because I have nowhere to write it
mtn: (maybe you want --debug or --dump?)

The exception is being thrown from deep in the guts of boost::program_options::store, when attempting to convert "a" to a long (which is the type that --depth is declared to want).
