Indeed, this was the problem.

After putting in a existing font in /etc/tpbrc it works. It works very nice btw. Great work.

Possibly the default font is not installed on your system.
Please try to add the following to your /etc/tpbrc:

OSDFONT 10x20

Should fix the problem. To find an other font please use the xfontsel program.

The next release will use this as default and also have a better error handling.

I have tried the latest version of tpb with both OSD 1.1 and 2.0 and tpb segfaults everytime when OSD is enabled. If I disable it, it works fine.

The OSD tools, like osd_cat also works. So OSD itself is ok. Any clues ?
