The log suggests this was fixed in r1.15 (2005-11-14 14:38:53)
however the bug was reported (2007-02-07).
My problem is I can't reproduce it, it appears to work in 2010,
and I suspect it was the result of version incompatibilities that
no longer apply. [closing]

Hello,

Perlpanel seems to crash when i remove or add any applet to the tray, using the configuration dialog.

which: no nautilus in (/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/opt/bin:/opt/gnome/bin:/opt/java/bin:/opt/java/jre/bin:/opt/kde/bin:/opt/mozilla/bin:/opt/qt/bin)

      • unhandled exception in callback:
      • Can't use string ("Panel-Position 'unten' is ungÃ) as a subroutine ref while "strict refs" in use at /usr/lib/perlpanel/PerlPanel.pm line 920.
      • ignoring at /usr/lib/perlpanel/PerlPanel.pm line 184.

I tested this with nautilus installed (not listed as a depend, i guess just a warning), still the same error.

Kind regards,
Georg
