Works fine with version 0.39 now.

As #5 states the error should be gone with 0.37. Please retest as soon as a windows binary for 0.37 becomes available.

Sorry, typo: Version 0.36 was meant. After 'mtn db regenerate_caches' it works without errors.

"Version 0.3"? You mean, 0.37? Can you run the command with --debug and put the output here?

Version 0.3 under windows throws an 'This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.' error if the residues exist.

Fixed from cf562c94be76e1dc2f16e0b79615cf0c6a7a0b91 onwards (monotone-0.37)

I'm hitting this problem. I worked around it by changing the file by deleting a blank line.

I'm new to Monotone and was trying to kill_rev_locally, since disapprove does not work for revisions with more than one ancestor (as documented). I ran into this crash and ran db regenerate_caches, which fixed it. Here is a transcript of what happened. Hopefully it will be useful.

this is almost certainly a bug in monotone.
please send this error message, the output of 'mtn --full-version',
and a description of what you were doing to -unavailable-
do not send a core dump, but if you have one,
please preserve it in case we ask you for information from it.
Aborted (core dumped)

The invariant we hit on attempting the second commit is:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::logic_error'
what(): lru_writeback_cache.hh:99: invariant 'I(_dirty.empty())' violated
mtn: fatal signal: Aborted

Running 'db regenerate_caches' fixes the problem--the second commit will succeed after caches have been regenerated.

I added tests/db_kill_rev_and_recommit (xfail'ed for now) to demonstrate.
