All important items fixed. If there are still issues that you are not happy with, please create new more specific bug reports for them.

[Additional information]

One more important thing in the Course Management / Edit Users page:

If one selects 'User name' heading, then the alphabet range below that is created dynamically based on how many user names exist.

EXCEPT, if one has first clicked on 'nickname' for example and selected an alphabet range corresponding to 'nicknames', then when one clicks on 'User name', the list is created for user names, but with the alphabet range from 'nicknames' and that range is not even shown.

This is very confusing.

Should be fixed so that the sort column is primary and the alphabet range is secondary and a slave to the sort column.

That is, every time you change the sort column, the alphabet ranges are recreated for that column AND the first range is selected (and shown selected as with <strong> or proper style attributee) by default.

In course management / Add user
and
User management

there are some minor lay-out glitches:

1.The active sorted column heading (e.g. 'nickname') is in BOLD, BUT the active name range (e.g. 'a - s') is NOT. Should be same style

2. In the column heading (e.g. 'nickname', 'first name', etc), the links have NO underlines, but in the alphabet range (e.g. 'a - s', 't - รถ') the selectable links have underlines. The style should be the same.

3. The active sorted apparent column is perhaps not visible enough? Could we highlight the whole sorted column. Test this

4. The Alphabe range selections below column headings feel somehow out of place and loose. Can't explain why, but they are slightly confusing to orientation. Can this be improved?

5. On the Add users (in Course management) right side pane that lists active users of a course, we use 'user name' / 'first name' 'last name' to indicate user. Shouldn't we now use 'nickname' / 'first' 'last name'

6. Should the right pane (see 5.) include the name of the course again (i.e. 'Course xxx teachers', 'Course xxx tutors', 'Course xxx Students'). Do we get tautophony?

7. In Course mgmt/Add user the toolbar (i.e. "In ase the course participants... Invite new participants") is not same in layout/logic as the other toolbars. Shouldn't they be?
