It is not a bug. See discussion.

I believe the consensus among devs is that if units are assigned to flags that they should be allowed to go past the PNR, but if they're just wandering they aren't to go past the PNR. I don't know how the mechanics of that are currently coded if someone can double check for if it needs to be fixed or this can be closed

in beta4 hunger got massively reduced so workers can now walk 256 steps without turning hungry.

i still see no problem in units going past their point of no return especially as inns might get built at the same time and thus the units can't know if they will have to starve or not. so technically we can't determine the point of no return.

we've been discussing if this actually is a bug. if i'm right, the two positions are:
-globs should go where the player puts the target no matter if they can make it back or there at all
-globs should know their point of no return and not cross it

for beginners i clearly vote for the 2nd but pros might want to command no return missions where they loose their units to conversion.

please discuss!

works with both explorers and warriors on a 256x64 map. put the flag half way around the map, watch as units go, become hungry and can't make it back and then just hang out to die.

Explorers summoned to distant exploration flags tend to not have
enough smarts to know when to go back for food, and thus frequently
die when this is done.
