Attached patch:

-Renames mega164 and mega324 to mega164p and mega324p
-Creates mega644p

Only thing I changed was signature for the mega644 to mega644p. So if someone has a mega644p it would be nice to check with that before I commit.

Originally, these devices were supposed to be named ATmega164
and ATmega324. The avrdude.conf addition was done by that
time already. Later on, Atmel changed their mind, and issued
their picopower line, so these two devices became the first
members of picopower.

Yes, it's fine to rename these entries. There should also be
a clone entry for the ATmega644P then. (At least, it does have
a different JTAG ICE than the non-P version.)

AFAIK there is NO ATMega164 part, only the ATMega164P. A search of Atmel.com for atmega164 returns only hits for atmega164p.

It would be more accurate to only accept the atmega164p as a valid part...

The MCU name "atmega164p" is not recognized by avrdude, although "atmega164" (without the 'p') is. I believe the atmega164 and atmega164p are the same device.

On a side note, GCC recognizes "atmega164p", and not "atmega164". It would be nice if avrdude was consistent with gcc.
