Axis aligned texts have different size when used with different freetype versions. 2.2.x series looks correct while 2.3.x and CVS have some issues with rotated texts (axis aligned).

I'm closing this as invalid, mainly because there is no information what font is used in the examples, making it impossible for me to reproduce the images. Additionally, all engines in Freetype have improved hinting over the last ten years, so I guess it has been resolved meanwhile.
In case there is still a problem please open a new issue.
