Yes you always should try everything with CVS snapshot (or devel package) before you submit bug/task.

You are welcome.

I guess i should have tried that first...

It works great with the cvs snapshot, i'll just wait for the next release then, and use the quote trick.

Thanks for your help.

seems OK in cvs:
[20:43:00] [freenode] <-- bot say #disque-monde plop

but it would be better to test it on your irc server where this is suppose to work.

Ok, is that worth trying a cvs build now, or do you preffer for me to try later when it will be fixed ?

':' messages have different meaning which depends on messages.
Some commands allow :<mask> at beginning of command e.g.
:Angel!wings@irc.org INVITE Wiz #Dust
and some use it before last parameter which may contain spaces e.g.
KICK #Finnish John :Speaking English

I would prefer to remove ':' at all because WeeChat cannot guess where ':' should be.

Hi,

The QUOTE workaround is working, thanks :)

If i just type "/bot say #disque-monde plop"
what is sent is :

[18:08:35] [multimondes] <-- bot :say #disque-monde plop
[18:08:35] [multimondes] <== bot :say #disque-monde plop

If i use QUOTE "/quote bot say #disque-monde plop", it works and what is sent is :

[18:09:25] [multimondes] <-- bot say #disque-monde plop
[18:09:25] [multimondes] <== bot say #disque-monde plop

Note the semicolons in the firt command send.

I'll try later today with a cvs build.

There is a workaround to use QUOTE command like I use it for freenode authentication: /quote NickServ IDENITFY xxxxxxxxxx
And to test if only first option is send you may use Raw buffer (open with combination "Alt+J Alt+R") and you will see what weechat really send.

PS: I did not tested if your bug appears in current cvs or not

Hello,

I'm connecting to a IRC server that support non standard IRC commands.

I've set irc_send_unknown_commands to enable thems.

It works fine for commands that have only one option (like "/auth password") but when it need more than one option (like "/bot say #disque-monde plop"), the server reply like if it only received the first option.
